On paper both can quote impressive speeds; the difference shows in real life. Fixed fiber usually delivers its advertised speed consistently, with low and stable latency: the delay before a response. Mobile 4G shares capacity across everyone connected to a tower, so speeds drop during busy evenings and latency is higher and more variable.
For anything latency-sensitive: video calls, online gaming, remote desktop: fixed broadband is clearly better. For everyday browsing, messaging and short videos, mobile 4G is more than enough.

Mobile internet is sold by the gigabyte with an expiry date: a pack gives you a set number of GB valid for 7 or 30 days. It is cheap to start and easy to control, but heavy streaming burns through an allowance quickly, and recharging can cost more than a fixed plan for the same total data.
Fixed broadband is usually a monthly plan: often "unlimited" with a fair-usage policy that slows you down after a very large threshold. The monthly fee is higher up front, and there may be installation and router costs, but the cost per gigabyte of heavy use is far lower.

Bangladesh's BDIX exchange lets ISPs exchange local traffic without international links, and it is the backbone of the country's FTP movie and live-TV servers. Those servers are overwhelmingly hosted by fixed-line ISPs and are reachable on those ISPs' networks or across BDIX. In practice, a fixed broadband line on a BDIX-peering ISP is the reliable way to use BDIX servers, while a mobile connection may not reach a given private BDIX node. Choose mobile internet if you need a connection on the move, want a low-cost backup, or only browse lightly.
