Editorial Policy

This page sets out the rules we hold ourselves to when publishing data about BDIX servers, IP addresses and ISPs. The short version: accuracy first, corrections fast, freshness honest, and paid placement fully disclosed.

Accuracy First

Every server, IP and ISP entry is checked against public registration data and direct checks before publication. Where a fact cannot be verified - for example, whether a server reachable only on BDIX is up at this moment - we say so rather than guessing. Our methodology is documented in how we verify BDIX data.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will correct it - usually within 48 hours. We handle reports fastest when they include the exact page URL and a short note on what needs fixing; see the contact page. Each page shows a real last-updated date so you can see when an entry was last checked.

No Fabricated Freshness

We never backdate changes or invent last-verified or last-updated dates. If an entry was last checked three weeks ago, it says three weeks ago. The weekly verification pass keeps those dates current for the directory's core data.

Some ISPs pay to be featured in the ISP directory. Featured placement is always clearly labelled with a Featured badge and a "Paid placement" note on the homepage and ISP directory.

Payment never changes factual data: packages, server lists, categories, contact details and reachability are identical for featured and non-featured ISPs. Featured placement only affects sorting and highlighting. Rankings in the Top 50 ISP list are editorial and cannot be bought.

To inquire about featured placement, use the List your ISP form or contact us.

What We Do Not Publish

  • Unverified up/down status for servers we cannot reach from outside their network.
  • Direct download links to copyrighted media hosted on BDIX servers.
  • Modified APKs or "cracked" software - our guides link only to official sources.
  • Anonymous, unverifiable claims about ISPs or servers.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Can an ISP pay to appear higher in the BDIX directory?

No. Some ISPs pay for Featured placement, which is always labelled with a Featured badge and a "Paid placement" note, but payment never changes factual data: packages, server lists, licence category, contact details and reachability are identical for featured and non-featured listings. Featured placement only affects sorting and highlighting, and Top 50 ISP rankings cannot be bought.

How quickly does BDIX correct an error?

Corrections are usually made within 48 hours. Reports are handled fastest when they include the exact page URL and a short note on what needs fixing - use the contact page, or the claim link on any listing if you operate the ISP.

Does BDIX back-date or invent last-updated dates?

No. Every page shows a real last-updated date and we never fabricate or back-date freshness. If an entry was last checked three weeks ago, it says three weeks ago, and the weekly verification pass keeps those dates current.

What will BDIX not publish?

Unverified up/down status for servers we cannot reach, direct download links to copyrighted media, modified or "cracked" software (our guides link only to official sources), and anonymous claims about ISPs or servers that we cannot verify.
