What The Four Operators Have In Common
All four are BTRC-licensed in the Mobile Internet category, and all four record the same coverage line: nationwide, all 64 districts. On the evidence of this page, none of them wins on reach, which is worth knowing before comparing anything else, because coverage is the factor usually put first.
They also share the same shape of offer: each one sells prepaid packs with a stated data allowance and a stated validity, and each one lists 4G. Where they part company on network technology is 5G, which Grameenphone and Robi record as limited and Banglalink and Teletalk record as a trial.
What Separates Them
- Grameenphone was established in 1997 and records 15 packs, the only operator of the four to publish three-day bundles alongside seven-day ones. It records eSIM support.
- Robi Axiata, also established in 1997, records the fewest packs at 9, and is the operator whose bundles mostly run to a full 30 days rather than the shorter windows the others favour. It records eSIM support.
- Banglalink, established in 2005, records 13 packs, mostly on seven-day validity, and records eSIM support.
- Teletalk, established in 2004 and the state-owned operator of the four, records the most packs at 17, and its 1 GB seven-day pack at ৳26 is the cheapest entry point on this page. It is also the only one of the four with no eSIM support recorded.
Price Against Validity
The four operators do not compete pack for pack, and the difference between their price structures is worth reading carefully. Small allowances over long validity are the most expensive way to buy data per gigabyte: Teletalk's 1 GB over 30 days at ৳51 and Banglalink's 5 GB over seven days at ৳160 both cost several times more per gigabyte than the large allowances. Bulk seven-day bundles are the cheapest per gigabyte of what is recorded here, with Grameenphone listing 30 GB over seven days at ৳219.
Grameenphone is also the only one of the four to publish a data-unlimited pack, an unlimited 30-day bundle at ৳899, so a heavy user comparing a large metered bundle against it should check what the fair-use terms allow before assuming the two are equivalent.

Mobile Data Is Not A BDIX Connection
One difference between these four and the fixed-line providers in the ISP directory matters more than any of the above: none of the four hosts a BDIX server. Local media servers and the local-network content they carry are reached over fixed-line connections and BDIX peering, not over mobile data. If your reason for comparing internet providers is to reach BDIX content, this page is the wrong shortlist, and the ISP directory is the right one.
