Following Bangladesh’s historic victory in the one-off Test match against Afghanistan, which they won by a margin of 546 runs, their next goal will be to take the One-Day International series at home. The One-Day International series between the Tigers and Afghanistan will get underway on July 5 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. See Bangladesh vs Afghanistan: ODI & T20 Schedule below.
The series will consist of three matches. It is safe to say that Bangladesh will start out as the favorite given that they have won four of the past five One-Day International series that they have played at home. Afghanistan, on the other hand, has demonstrated that in the shorter formats, they are not a squad that should be underestimated and that they are capable of giving the host team a run for their money.
