New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced on Wednesday that the upcoming series between Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand will be called the “Bangla Wash T20I Tri-Series“.
The Bangladeshi detergent brand Bangla Wash, which is owned by ANH Group, will be the title sponsor of the tri-series. It will start on October 7 in Christchurch with a game between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
In 2010, when Bangladesh swept New Zealand in a One-Day International (ODI) series, the term “Bangla Wash” was added to their language.
Since then, this saying has been used whenever Bangladesh has beaten an opponent in a bilateral series without losing a single game.
